First Choice Business Systems have successfully passed the latest ISO 9001 and 14001 assessments with no non-conformities.
The news means that the company continues to hold the ISO 9001:2008 certification for their Quality Management System, and ISO 14001:2004 for their Environmental Management System. The Orpington based company has reduced its electricity usage by nearly 18% since 2008 and water usage by 7% during the same period. The figures clearly show the environmental progress the Xerox Concessionaire has made as a result of becoming ISO 14001 certified.
Companies are required to pass a comprehensive assessment every 6 months to ensure continued compliance with internationally recognised standards in both areas. In addition to ensuring quality internal management systems and processes, the standards also ensure full legal compliance.
Ellen Hunt, ISO Management Representative at First Choice Business Systems said: “We are delighted to announce that we have continued to meet the standards set by BSI with no non-conformities. The assessments provide us with a great opportunity to ensure continuous improvement in our management processes for the benefit of our customers.”
